How do you turn a script into a video?
Paste your script into the Studio, pick who says it, and press render. On the free plan a Featured avatar reads it back. On the Plus plan your own Digital Twin does, built from your face and voice. The video comes back finished, with the words spoken and nothing to edit. Kyndrify does not write the script for you.
Who it is for
Marketers, training and enablement teams, and creators who already have the words written and would rather not film them.
What you need
The script, and a face to say it. On the free plan that face is a Featured avatar from the catalog, one of our ready-made characters, with no real person behind it. Building a Digital Twin of yourself, with your own face and voice, comes with the Plus plan.
What it costs
Free starts with 8,400 credits, once, and they do not expire. A free video runs to 60 seconds. A Digital Twin video bills 152 credits a second on the Plus plan and above, and one video can run to thirty minutes. Plus is $49 a month billed yearly, or $59 month to month, with 28,000 credits a month, which is 184 seconds of Digital Twin video at that rate.
What it does not do
It does not write the script. One render is one video, so nothing fills in names from a spreadsheet.
Not sure who should read it? Every Featured voice sits in the voice library: tap a card and it plays a sample.
Three things, in this order.
- 1
Pick who says it.
The Studio asks this before it asks for the script, because the voice and the face come as a pair. On the free plan you pick a Featured avatar, one of our ready-made characters, with no real person behind it. A character of your own, a Digital Twin built from your face and voice or an Avatar you design, comes with the Plus plan.
- 2
Paste the script and pick the voice.
The script box sits next to the voice picker in step two. Type it, paste it, or translate the one you already have. One line under the box keeps count as you type: roughly how long the video will run, how many characters you have used, and how many of your sentences will render on your plan.
- 3
Render.
The cost is on the screen before you press it, worked out from how long your script takes to say. Press render and the finished file is in your Library.
A script goes in. A finished video comes out.

Nothing is rewritten in between.
What you paste is what gets said, spacing and all. Nobody edits your wording, nobody re-sequences your paragraphs, and no second pass tidies your sentences into somebody else's. The render comes back with the words spoken, the mouth landing on them, and nothing left for you to assemble. Read along and watch it hit the line you were worried about.
Four things worth knowing before you paste.
It takes a long script.
The box holds 32,000 characters and stops there, so you know the limit before you find it. You never split the file yourself and you never stitch the pieces back: the words come out in order, as one video, however long the box was.
It keeps whole sentences.
If the script runs past what your plan allows, Kyndrify keeps whole sentences up to the ceiling, so a trimmed script still ends on a finished thought. The count under the box tells you how many of your sentences will render, while you are still typing. The one exception is a single sentence longer than your whole plan allows: the box says so while you type, and that render is cut at the ceiling. Break it into two sentences and it is fine.
You pay for what renders, not for what you pasted.
The cost is worked out from the trimmed script. If four sentences did not fit, you are not charged for four sentences of video.
It can translate in place.
Pick a language and the box rewrites itself for 10 credits. Speech is supported in ten languages. The translator writes into twelve, and Hindi, Filipino, Indonesian and Arabic are text only for now, so keep the render in one of the ten spoken ones.
When the script does not exist yet.
Kyndrify does not write scripts inside this tool, so a blank page needs a different door. Tell Kae, our AI creative director, what the video is for and who it is for.
She plans the whole thing on a storyboard: the beats, the shots, the voice, with the cost shown before anything runs. Change what you want, then render it.
What this page does not promise.
It does not write the script.
This page is for words you already have. A blank page is Kae's job, on the storyboard, and it is a different door.
One render is one video.
There are no merge fields and nothing pulls names from a spreadsheet. Twenty versions means twenty scripts and twenty renders.
A face of your own is a paid feature.
On the free plan the script is read by a Featured avatar. A Digital Twin built from your own face and voice comes with the Plus plan.
Four translated languages have no voice yet.
The translator writes into twelve languages and speech covers ten of them. Hindi, Filipino, Indonesian and Arabic come back as text you can read, not as a voice you can render.
Questions people ask before they paste.
- How long can my script be?
- The box takes up to 32,000 characters and stops there. Your plan is what actually stops you first: one minute per video while you are on Free, thirty minutes once you are paying, which is about where 32,000 characters lands. That ceiling is on one video, not what a month buys: on Plus, 28,000 credits a month is 184 seconds of Digital Twin video.
- What happens if my script is too long for my plan?
- Whole sentences are kept up to your ceiling and the rest are set aside, so a trimmed script still ends on a finished thought. The line under the box counts how many of your sentences will render, while you are still typing. The one exception is a single sentence longer than your whole plan allows: the box says so while you type, and that render is cut at the ceiling. Break it into two sentences and it is fine. For a script that is simply long, trim it yourself or upgrade and paste the whole thing.
- Do I get charged for the part that does not render?
- No. The cost is worked out from the script that actually renders, not from everything you pasted.
- Can I render a script in another language?
- Speech works in ten languages today. Put the box in one of them and the render comes back in it. The translate button beside the box rewrites the box itself for 10 credits, into twelve languages, and four of those have no voice yet, so keep the render inside the spoken ten.
- Can I use my own face on the free plan?
- No. On the free plan the script is read by a Featured avatar, one of our ready-made characters, and the whole catalog is open to you. Hear the Featured voices in the voice library first: tap a card and it plays a sample. A Digital Twin of you, built from your own face and voice, comes with the Plus plan. The same script renders again on it later, with nothing rewritten.
- Can I make one video per person from a list of names?
- Not today. One render is one video, so there are no merge fields and nothing pulls names from a spreadsheet. If you need twenty versions, you write and render twenty scripts.
- Will Kyndrify write the script for me?
- Not in this tool. This page is for words you already have. If you are starting from a rough idea instead, Kae plans the video on a storyboard and shows the cost before anything runs.
