- To clone your voice with AI, name the voice in the Studio, tick the confirmation that it is yours, then read the reference line aloud or upload a clip you already have. The recording is saved to your Digital Twin as your voice, and after that you pick it and it speaks whatever you write.
- How much audio do I need to clone my voice?
- Ten seconds of clear audio is the minimum, and one short reading of the reference line covers it. There is no long studio session and no hours of audio required.
- Is AI voice cloning safe and consent-based?
- Yes. Our voice cloning is consent-based by design. We verify the voice is yours before it is saved, it is used only with your permission, and you can delete it from your Workspace at any time.
- Can I use my cloned voice in videos and voiceovers?
- Yes. Once voice cloning saves your voice to your Digital Twin, you can pick it for any talking-head video, ad, or voiceover. Type the words and your cloned voice speaks them, sounding like you every time.

- Cloning your own voice is on every plan, Free included. On Free you keep one voice of your own at a time; paid plans keep as many as you like.
- Will my cloned voice sound robotic?
- No. Your cloned voice is built from your own recording, so it carries your real tone and delivery, not a flat, generic read. It sounds like you on a good day, which is the whole point of cloning your own voice instead of picking a stock one.
- Is AI voice cloning legal?
- Cloning your own voice is straightforward, and that is what Kyndrify is built for. Using someone else's voice needs their clear consent, which is why every voice goes through the consent and authorization steps before it is saved. Your voice is used to provide the service, not to build a public training dataset.
- Can I use my cloned voice commercially?
- Yes. Paid plans include commercial use, so you can publish videos and voiceovers made with your cloned voice as long as you hold the rights you need and you follow our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy. Machine-verifiable disclosure and provenance are still rolling out, so they are not yet guaranteed on every output.
